Is it really free?
The clock is completely free — every timing mode, move capture, replay, and shareable game reports — supported by one light banner and the occasional ad after a game. Clock Pro is the optional upgrade: it removes all ads and unlocks the automatic time intelligence (verdicts, trends, head‑to‑head records). Available as a subscription or a one‑time lifetime purchase.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Once installed, the clock works fully offline. No account, no login, no internet required to play.
What data do you collect?
As little as humanly possible. Your games and settings stay on your device. Anonymous crash reports, and the data Google AdMob needs to serve ads (with consent asked where the law requires it). No account means no profile. See the full Privacy Policy below.
Can I use it in a tournament?
Tournament eligibility is up to the arbiter and the federation. The clock implements Fischer, Bronstein and simple delay to spec, and many clubs allow phone clocks for casual and rapid play. For FIDE‑rated games, check with your arbiter.
Is the timing actually accurate?
Drift < 1 ms per move under normal conditions. The clock anchors every move to a high‑resolution timestamp and computes remaining time from elapsed wall time — it never decrements a counter, which is what causes drift in cheaper clocks.
