1. The service

The Grandmaster Chess Clock app — every timing mode, move capture, replay, and shareable game reports — is free to use, supported by advertising. Clock Pro is an optional paid tier that removes all ads and unlocks additional features (automatic time-management insights, premium clock faces, voice alerts, and more).

2. Purchases, subscriptions & cancellation

Clock Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or annual) or a one-time lifetime purchase, billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) at the price shown before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period — manage or cancel anytime in your App Store / Google Play subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple/Google under their store policies. Purchases can be restored on a new device with "Restore purchases".

3. License

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control. You may not redistribute, resell, decompile, or reverse-engineer the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.

4. Your data

Your games and settings are yours and live on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for exports and backups you create.

5. Advertising

The free tier displays advertising served by Google AdMob, subject to consent where required. Clock Pro removes it.

6. As-is

The app is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any damages arising from use or inability to use the app — including lost games, missed flag-falls, or tournament outcomes. Check with your arbiter before using a phone clock in rated play.

7. Acceptable use

Don't use the app for anything illegal, and don't interfere with the ads or purchase mechanisms. That's it.

8. Trademarks

"Grandmaster Chess Clock" and its logo belong to the developer. Apple, App Store, iOS, Google Play, and Android are trademarks of their respective owners.
