1. Who we are

Grandmaster Chess Clock ("the app") is an independent mobile application for iOS and Android, published by an individual developer, reachable at xaesionai@gmail.com.

2. Data that stays on your device

The app is local-first. Your games (moves, per-move clock times, the player names you type, notes and tags), your profile name, and your settings are stored on your device only. We run no accounts and no game servers; this data is never uploaded by us. Backups and game reports leave the device only when you explicitly export or share them.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version shows a small banner and an occasional full-screen ad after a game, served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process your device's advertising identifier (Apple IDFA / Google Advertising ID), IP address, and coarse device information, under Google's Privacy Policy. In the EEA/UK, Google's consent dialog (UMP) asks for your choice before any personalized ads; on iOS, Apple's App Tracking Transparency applies. You can reset or limit your advertising identifier in device settings. Clock Pro removes all advertising.

4. Purchases

Clock Pro is sold through the App Store and Google Play. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google — we never see your payment details. An anonymous purchase token is validated (via RevenueCat) solely to unlock your entitlement; it is not linked to your name or games.

5. Crash reports

If the app crashes, an anonymous diagnostic report (device model, OS version, stack trace) may be sent via Sentry to help fix the bug. It contains no games, names, or advertising identifiers set by us.

6. Children

The app is rated for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; ad content is family-safe rated.

7. Your rights & choices

• Delete everything: Settings → "Delete my data" wipes all games and personal data on the device; uninstalling removes the rest.
• Ads consent: in the EEA/UK you can change your ad-consent choice; you may also reset your advertising ID in device settings.
• No server data: because we store nothing about you on a server, there is nothing for us to export or correct — your device is the single copy.
